AWWA Home (AH) and Day Activity Centre (DAC) serve adults aged 18 to 55 years old, with mild to severe physical and multiple disabilities, who have no caregivers or next of kin or whose caregivers are unable to care for them.
AH and DAC provide holistic care through therapy, physical rehabilitation, training in activities of daily living and community integration activities to this group who are unable to remain in school, be gainfully employed or be enrolled in a day activity centre. It also provide recreational activities, games and outings for our clients to promote and encourage social participation.
Caregiver training are offered to caregivers of clients in hope to eventually have them live comfortably in their homes, with their families.
Through the various activities, we aim to provide good quality living, promote emotional and general well-being and prolong the lifespan of our clients.
