AWWA Ltd. (“AWWA”) is a company limited by guarantee in Singapore. AWWA is governed by its Constitution and is a registered charity. It has been an Institution of Public Character (IPC) since 1 April 2015.
AWWA was initially incorporated as a subsidiary of the Asian Women’s Welfare Association (the “Association”) on 7 January 2015. The Association was registered as a society under the Societies Act on 1970 and established as a charity on 7 November 1984.
On 29 March 2022, the Association passed a resolution to be dissolved, which was approved by the Registrar of Societies and the Commissioner of Charities.
