Apply with us if you are:

• Pursuing Therapist or Social Work studies in local polytechnics
• Pursuing Degree programmes in Therapy, Social Work, Special Education or Nursing in local universities
• Pursuing post-graduate degree programmes in Psychology studies
• A Singapore citizen or Singapore permanent resident
• Not a recipient of any other scholarships or have a specified bond obligation
• Someone with good co-curricular activity records

The programme

The Student Scholarship offers up to 100% support of course fees and/or reimbursements of training-related expenses capped at $50,000. Awardees will receive a monthly study allowance during the course of their studies, and be exposed to internship opportunities within AWWA during semester breaks to provide them with first-hand experience.

Awardees have to serve a bond with AWWA after the completion of their studies.

The scholarship application window opens twice in a year (1 to 30 April and 1 to 30 September)

Interested applications are to write to awwahr@awwa.org.sg with their most recent curriculum vitae together with the documents and information listed below:

• Educational Certificates & transcripts
• Co-curricular activities record and testimonials (if any)
• Letter of Acceptance from the relevant educational institution
• Projected date of completion and graduation
• Preferred areas of specialisation (i.e. Geriatrics, Paediatrics, Post-18) and settings (e,g. Centre-based, School, Home Therapy, Mobile Therapy)

Shortlisted applicants will be notified via email and will be invited for an interview within 2 weeks after the scholarship period closes for each window
