So Man Shan, Centre Supervisor from AWWA Active Ageing Centre, shared that the number of elderly people visiting the centre during this period had decreased by about 30%, mainly due to the prevention measures in Phase 2A (Heightened Alert). She shared that many seniors were not good at using technology and that the continued operations of the centre allowed the elderly to stay active and spend their time meaningfully. The centre also kept seniors updated with the latest information about the pandemic, and also assisted them in arranging for vaccination appointments.
