AWWA School’s Numeracy Curriculum strives to equip students with functional and practical numeracy skills that will empower them to solve day to day numeracy problems as they navigate through their environment and the community.

The Numeracy Department aims to accomplish this by conducting a combination of class-based and community-based numeracy activities. The class-based activities aim to increase the engagement and interest of students towards numeracy concepts through the use of technological devices, games, and resource kits. Community-based activities, on the other hand, aims to encourage students to apply the numeracy concepts learnt in class into the real-world setting with the guidance and supervision of their teachers.
